Last year we added the Digital Skills Award to our line-up, and we discovered a whole host of fantastic new organisations and programmes that were going on up and down the country.

Designed to highlight any public, private or not-for-profit organisation in the UK, the Digital Skills Award will go to an entry that helps people of any age to learn vital digital skills. Whether they are working within the education sector, the local community, implementing a new learning programme, teaching an existing one, delivering to a single organisation or within a nationwide partnership – as long as digital skills are being delivered, we want you to nominate them!

Last year we chose Code Club as winners of the Digital Skills Award. Code Club is a nationwide network of free volunteer-led after-school coding clubs for 9-11 year olds, with over 1,900 clubs across the country. You can find out more about the work that Code Club do by clicking here.

If you know an organisation that has identified and delivered digital skills to a range of people, is working with employers, engaging with the community or ensuring inclusion and equality within learning activities, let us know about them. Nominate your favourite organisation for the Digital Skills Award – you have until May 6th before nominations close.
