In case you haven’t spotted it the shortlists for this year’s Tech4Good Awards have been announced. We have 23 finalists in seven categories so take a look at who’s made it to the finals and learn more about what they do and why we thought they stood out from the crowd.

So, what’s next?

This is where you come in.

We’ve chosen our top three (or, in some cases, top four!) individuals and organisations in each category, but who do you think shines brightest out of all 23 finalists? The People’s Award is where we ask you to tell us who you think deserves to win overall.

Voting will open on the 2nd June, and you’ll have until 5pm on 30th June to tell us who you think is better than all the rest.

You can vote in two ways:

  1. Use the online form on this site. Just choose your favourite and cast your vote.
  2. Vote on Twitter or other social media. Every finalist has a unique hashtag and we can count how often that hashtag is used. So make sure you’re tweeting to show your support and get your friends and contacts to retweet to add their vote as well.

The hashtags are listed on the finalists page, and you’ll be reminded of the hashtag for your favourite once you cast your vote for them.

The winner will be decided through a combination of the website votes and hashtag votes and will be announced by Mariella Frostrup at the Awards Ceremony on 10 July.

Voting starts at 9am on 2 June

Sign up to our mailing list and we’ll let you know when voting for the People’s Award has opened – and remind you when it closes!
