Heather Sneddon, smiling at the cameraHeather Sneddon is our AbilityNet Coordinator in South West Scotland and beyond. She has been in the role for 4 years now giving up her spare time to help older and disabled people in Scotland be part of the digital world, supporting a team of 23 volunteers to provide support, advice and training. She ‘works’ tirelessly to support her team and clients and is passionate about the power of tech to enhance and transform lives. Daily medication, treatment, pain and being a wheelchair user certainly does not hold Heather back, it just increases her empathy and skill at supporting others.

Over the time Heather has been Coordinator at AbilityNet her and her team in SW Scotland have supported 683 clients.
They have resolved 1066 tickets for free tech support – setting up new tech, fixing problems and supporting with digital skills. As a team they have given over 2500 hours of their time to support local older and disabled people.
Their customer satisfaction ratings speak for themselves with 97% of the clients rating the free service as excellent or good.
