We are looking for inspiring projects about the way tech can changes lives in Africa – the use of technology is important but the winners will be using an approach that places people’s needs at the heart of the solutions being developed. This Award is open to any individual, business, charity, social enterprise or other public body anywhere in the world but their work MUST be tackling poverty or social injustice and specifically benefiting people in sub-Saharan Africa.
Entries must identify:
What? – How the project has met an identified need
Who? – Whether the project included relevant and significant stakeholders?
Impact? – The impact that the project has made the end user
Innovation – How innovative the project is in the use of technology?
Scalability – What potential does the project have for further growth and development?
