BT have sponsored the Tech4Good Awards since the very beginning, kindly offering support throughout the whole process, as well as the loan of the BT Tower and BT Centre for our events. They have a keen interest in tech innovation themselves, having set up the BT Infinity Lab to celebrate start-ups and support business growth.

In conjunction with TechHub, the BT Infinity Lab are running ‘Connected Society’; a competition to find the most innovative organisation using ICT and communication technologies to address current and emerging social challenges. The competition aims to help start-ups get better, faster – whether they address digital inclusion, isolation, fuel and food poverty, community cohesion, access to opportunity, flooding, security, safety or resilience.

Every entry is considered individually, and the winner of each programme will be given a fantastic tailor-made package of advice, introductions and mentoring, including:

  • Six month’s support from BT, including access to knowledge and expertise from all divisions – including research and development, engineering, legal and marketing
  • Membership at TechHub’s sold out community space in the heart of East London’s ‘Tech City’, offering business support, workspace and an international community of entrepreneurs, exclusively for the tech industry
  • Feature on the BT.com homepage
  • Product placement in the London Infinity Lab and other BT Showcases.
