Celebrating young people using tech to make the world a better place
BT has made a long-term commitment to build a culture of tech literacy and prepare the next generation to thrive in a digital world. The BT Young Pioneer Award recognises young people using tech to help solve problems for other people.
Entry is open to anyone under 18, either individuals or groups (up to maximum 5) from UK + Ireland. Nominations can include apps, websites, new gadgets or any other digital technology that is improving the lives of others. There are prizes for the winners and finalists, as well as invites to BT Tower and the Awards Ceremony at BT Centre in London.
Last year’s winning project was Dyslexic Aid from two teenage girls from Northern Ireland.
