Social Care Institute of Excellence, winners of the Working Together Award Get Connected Investment Project is a capital grant scheme. that has distributed almost £12 million to over 1,200 care providers and benefited 29,000 services users, carers and staff.
With a number of partners working closely together, the technology provided has helped service users communicate with family and friends, better manage their care needs, find information, and access online services.
The funding has also helped care staff to access relevant information online, research new activities and support their professional development.
