Finalist, 2014

Amy Mather is a student in Manchester, with three years of coding experience already tucked under her belt. At just 15 years old, Amy has already eloquently presented her work on coding and 3D design at a number of prestigious events, won European Digital Girl of the Year 2013 and has been recognised by the European Commission.

She has high aspirations, too. Amy wants to run her own ‘Mini Makerthon’  to give more children access to coding, 3D design and CadCam technologies to create their own work, take pride in them and share them with others.
